Training

Basic Petrophysics and Schlumberger Techlog

Upon the completion of this course, the participants will be able to operate Schlumberger Techlog software independently, providing a range of answer products in deterministic petrophysics and ELAN. Special attention is dedicated to the operations' efficiency and capability to automate and document the computational models.

Training

Advanced Petrophysics and Schlumberger Techlog

Upon the completion of this course, the participants will be able to operate Schlumberger Techlog, creating advanced petrophysical models for subsequent import into Petrel or other 3D modeling software. Special attention is dedicated to the operations' efficiency and capability to automate and document the computational models. The course includes Saturation Height Modeling and provides essential concepts of hydrocarbon reserves estimation.

Training

Borehole Image Analysis and Intro to Geosteering

Upon the completion of this course, the participants will be able to plan, supervise and check validity of borehole image acquisition with LWD and Wireline instruments. They will be able to perform fundamentals of the wellbore image processing and interpretation and visualize results. The participants will be able to function as a structural geology member of Geosteering team, operating Schlumberger Techlog and advising drillers and other specialists on the well trajectory for optimal reservoir penetration.

Training

Borehole Seismic Best Practices and Applications

Upon the completion of this course, the participants will be able to select and justify the appropriate borehole seismic acquisition method(s) for exploration and development projects, generate technical specifications for the seismic survey providers, supervise field acquisition in a “wellsite witness” capacity, perform basic quality control and identify the survey quality problems, understand the borehole seismic processing results and be able to incorporate them into other geological, geophysical and petrophysical applications.
